The World Men’s Curling Championship 2023 will play from 01 April to 09 April. The Curling Champion will take place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This is the first time that Ottawa will host the event.

The event will be known as BKT & OK Tire Men’s World Curling Championship because of sponsorship. The World Men’s Curling Championship prize money has been confirmed.

The US gives the most prize share to their players in the Curling championship. The sports federation has set the prize share for the players when they win medals in the world champions and Olympics.

How Much Will Teams Pay Each Player?

If the USA team wins a gold medal in the Men’s Curling World Championship, each player will earn $100k. But if they win the silver medal, they get a $75k prize. If they win the Bronze medal, they will get $50k each.

When Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland teams will the gold medal in the Curling Championship, they will give a $75k prize to each team player.

Thus, if they come in 2nd place, they will provide a $50k bonus to players. If their team wins the Bronze medal, they will give each squad player a $25k prize share.

If Canada team players win the gold medal in the tournament, they will be paid $50k. While they take the second spot in the standing, they will take a $25k prize. If they win the bronze medal, each player will earn $15k.

When German players win the gold medal, they will pay $40k. If they win the silver medal, each player earns $25k. Moreover, if they win the bronze medal, they make a $15k prize to every player.

The Czech Republic pays their players the lowest salary in the Curling Championship. They will pay $30k for each team player when they win the gold medal.

While if their players win the silver medal, they will give a $20k prize to players. If they win the Bronze medal in the event, they will pay $10k to each athlete.
