Cricket West Indies started the Caribbean Premier League in 2013, and since then, it has grown to be one of the top T20 club contests worldwide. Cricketers from all around the world are featured in this competition, just like in other T20 tournaments.
The CPL rankings will pick the best teams in the tournament based on the CPL points table. The top-placed CPL teams will then advance to compete in the knockout rounds and attempt to win the trophy.

CPL Format
- Six teams compete in the CPL T20 contest, which is split into a group stage and a knockout stage.
- The teams play ten matches in the group stage, three at home.
- The co-location of all six teams causes this tournament’s peculiar format during its first five consecutive matches, after which the entire event switches venues for the next five games.
- The playoffs consist of two semifinal games and a final game to decide the tournament champion.
