World Snooker Championship is the men’s professional snooker competition that will take place from 15 April to 1 May 2023. Ronnie O’Sullivan is the previous champion of the tournament.
It is the 47th time the competition will play at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England. It is managed by the World Snooker Tour and sponsored by the Cazoo.

The total prize pool fixed for the World Snooker Championship is £2,395,000. The World Snooker Championship winner will get a handsome amount of £500k from the total purse. The tournament runner-up will get a £200k payout.
The semi-finalists of the World Snooker Championship will fill their pockets with a £100k prize. The quarter-finalist will take a £50k prize share. The Round 16 winner will receive a £30k reward.
The Round 32 champion will be awarded £20k payout. The Round 48 winner will get a £15k prize money, and the Round 80 winner will get a £10k reward.
The player with the highest breaking in the World Snooker Championship will receive a £15k reward. There are also some bonuses set for the players.
With £10k awarded for 147 in the preliminary rounds, the prize for the maximum break in the final draw is £40k.
