PSL is a big cricket tournament in Pakistan ready to entertain its fans this month. This year, some famous cricket players are returning to PSL to compete for the big prize.

Here, we share a list of the highest-paid players in PSL. The best PSL players are chosen through a draught, which determines their selection. The Platinum category players are the most expensive players in PSL, where every player earns From $ 130k to $170k.

Each team in the draught could select three players from this category. Eighteen players in the platinum category have been chosen for the PSL 2023 draught.

These players receive the highest salaries in the PSL. All of the famous cricketers of the world are included in this category.

Highest-Paid Players in PSL 2024

1. Babar Azam | Peshawar Zalmi

Babar Azam is the most expensive player in PSL. Zalmi signed Babar Azam as a captain this year instead of Wahab Riaz. They belong to a Platinum category, so he will earn $170K.

He has represented Islamabad United and Karachi Kings and has scored 2413 runs at a 42.23 average in 68 matches. The 28-year-old has scored the most runs in the history of the competition as well.

2. Shadab Khan | Islamabad United

The captain of Islamabad United Shadab Khan is placed in the Platinum category, so they will receive a $170k salary. Khan is Pakistan’s best mighty T20I bowler and an all-around player. He is also identified as one of the best fielders. 

3. Mohammad Rizwan | Multan Sultans

Mohammad Rizwan Plays for the Multan Sultans and is the team captain. Under their captaincy, Multan won the PSL 2021 title. Rizwan is placed in the Platinum category and is the highest-paid player in PSL.

4. Shaheen Afridi | Lahore Qalandars

Shaheen Afridi is the Pakistan National Cricket Team’s fast bowler. He gives his services as a captain of Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2023. Lahore won the PSL 2022 tournament under his captaincy. Shaheen is one of the highest-paid players in PSL 2023.

5. Mohammad Nawaz | Quetta Gladiators

Mohammad Nawaz will play for the Quetta Gladiators in PSL 2023, and Quetta bought him in 2016. Nawaz is the most expensive player in PSL who will get a $170k compensation. He played 66 games for the Quetta in PSL and got 66 wickets with an average rate of 25.78.

6. Naseem Shah | Quetta Gladiators

Another Quetta Gladiator player who is among the highest-paid players in PSL is Naseem Shah. He takes 19 wickets in 20 games in PSL with an average rate of 29.  

7. Tymal Mills | Islamabad United

English Player Tymal Mills will play for Islamabad in PSL 2023. Islamabad bought him for $170k, which belongs to the Platinum category. As he is in the Platinum category, so he is the most expensive player in PSL.
