Ravindra Jadeja, the superb batsman for Chennai Super Kings, was kept for 16 crores. Before the IPL 2023 Bidding process, rumors suggested that CSK could cut Jadeja loose. Nevertheless, Jadeja decided to remain with Chennai despite an alleged falling out with the team following IPL 2022.
The IPL 2022 Auction’s most expensive selection was Ishan Kishan. Mumbai Indians spent a huge 15.25 crore to secure the skilled batsman and wicket-keeper.
