In Qatar 2022, Costa Rica will feature in their 6th World Cup. The last squad to register for the competition was Luis Fernando’s group, who defeated New Zealand in the play-off in June.

Starting in goal is Navas. Oviedo will likely start at left full-back, Calvo & Duarte will likely begin to through the middle, and Waston will probably start at right full-back.
Borges will keep the midfield compact, while Ruiz contributes some originality in the center. Fuller and Bennette can be problematic on the wings, and Campbell is joined up front by Venegas.
