For the 6th time, Saudi Arabia will experience World Cup 2022. In 1994, when they first made it to the competition’s finals, they made a splash by making their debut in the round of 16.
Saudi Arabia failed to qualify for 2010 and 2014 after successive group-stage exits in 1998, 2002, and 2006. Saudi Arabia was eliminated from the group stage in the 2018 world cup four years ago.

Renard often plays in a 4-2-3-1 formation, although he is creative enough to switch to a more aggressive 4-3-3 when needed.
Mohammed Al-Owais will probably start in goal. Al-Bulaihi and Al-Amri will form the back four that will serve as his defense. Al-Ghanam may start at right-back, with Al-Shahrani taking the left-back spot.
Otayf and Al-Faraj ought to serve as the two defensive midfielders. Al-Dawsari, Al-Muwallad, and Bahebri could all take up positions on the left and right flanks, with Al-Muwallad serving as the attacking midfielder.
