Dahani was selected for Pakistan’s Test team for their series against Zimbabwe in March 2021. He was included in Pakistan’s Test team for their matchup with the West Indies in June 2021. He was included in Pakistan’s One Day International (ODI) team for their series against New Zealand in September 2021.
Later that month, he was selected as one of Pakistan’s three traveling reserves for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. He was included in the Twenty20 International (T20I) team for Pakistan’s series against Bangladesh in November 2021.
