The most successful team in the competition, Boca Juniors, founded Recopa Sudamericana in 1989. Dates for the CONMEBOL Recopa Sudamericana tournament have been finalized. The match will be held between the champion of the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana.
Based on ticket sales and sponsorship agreements, the winning team’s winning portion of the Recopa Sudamericana prize pool increased to 15%. Every team’s prize money for the Recopa Sudamericana is revealed.
Recopa Sudamericana Prize Money 2023
For the 2023 season, the South American Football Association (Conmebol) has put out a plan for a 23% increase in wages to teams across all of its competitions.
According to Conmebol, it would distribute almost $301 million this year, an increase of more than $57 million from 2022. Teams competing in the Copa Sudamericana will get up to $77.8 million, an increase of $17.84 million.

In previous years, Recopa Sudamericana sponsorship deals increased significantly. These sponsorships have been offered by Easy, Fox, Guerrero, Reebok, and many other brands.
But, the payout for the 2023 tournament has not yet been revealed by the organizers. Hopefully, CONMEBOL will offer $500k to the champion of the tournament. While a $250k prize share will be given to the runner-up of the team.
Recopa Sudamericana winners & runner-ups will also receive a prize share from the sales of tickets and television rights.
