Japan is the first team that has announced its 26 players squad for the Qatar World Cup 2022. The World Cup month has already begun, and the event will start in a few weeks.

For the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, each team’s coach has already chosen his squad’s provisional roster and is expected to make the report soon.

The World Cup group for Japan is E. Spain, Costa Rica, and Germany are also members of their group. On November 17, six days before their first encounter against Germany, Hajime Moriyasu’s team will play a practice match against Canada.

Moriyasu claimed that he made his final choice on the morning of the release.

“We discussed not having World Cup experience before making the selection,” he stated. Experience is essential, without a doubt. But, we depend on the passion of individuals who, despite their inexperience, want it at the World Cup.

Numerous former members of the Japanese national team are on Hajime Moriyasu’s team, such as defender Maya Yoshida and fullback Yuto Nagatomo.

Both backup goalkeepers, Kawashima Eiji and Nagatomo Yuto were chosen for the 4th time. The attacking players have never before competed in a FIFA World Cup.
