The top-ranked Australian Test bowler has only participated in 33 Big Bash League games but has already grabbed 41 wickets.

9. Dan Christian ($197,900)

Dan Christian will be remembered as among the greatest players in Big Bash League history. He began with the Brisbane Heat before being acquired by the Hobart Hurricanes for a sizable price of $197,900.

In his BBL career, he has 1745 runs scored and 82 wickets taken. Over the time of the Big Bash ten seasons, he has played for four different four clubs.

8. Ashton Agar  ($197,900)

Many expected to see Ashtofor. For many people, Agar of the Perth Scorchers secured 8th place. The Agar charged $197,900 for playing BBL and added his name to the list of highest-paid players.

7. Rashid Khan  ($198,800)

Rashid Khan is only 22 years old and is the Big Bash League’s highest-paid foreign player. The Adelaide Strikers are a team of talented spin bowlers. In his first season with Adelaide Strikers, he won the title and received a well-deserved $198,800 wage cap.

5. Joe Root ($200,000)

The England Test captain played seven matches but only managed 116 runs and no wickets.

4. Chris Lynn ($202,000)

Chris Lynn is among the top players competing in the Big Bash. The aggressive opening batter represented Brisbane Heat and identified himself as the team’s symbol.

In contrast, it is surprising that Lynn, who earns $202,000 and is ranked fourth among BBL players, is not among the top three most expensive players. In the BBL, Lynn has scored 2790 runs with a scoring rate of 151.05 and hit an incredible 172 sixes.

3. Marcus Stoinis ($227,900)

Marcus Stoinis began his career with the Perth Scorchers but has succeeded for the Melbourne Stars. He has taken 36 wickets and scored 2137 runs.

2. Andrew Tye ($246,800)

Among the most important players for Perth Scorchers is Andrew Tye, who struggled for Rajasthan Royals in this IPL edition. The 33-year-old knuckleball legend makes a staggering $246,800 annual salary.

1. D’Arcy Short ($258,900)

The Big Bash’s most expensive player in history is D’Arcy Short. He is the only player with a total salary of $258,900. The left-handed opener has only played in the Big Bash League for the past five years but has significantly impacted the competition.
