The Rolex Shanghai Masters 2023 is a tennis contest played on outdoor hard courts. It is the 12th edition of the Shanghai ATP Masters 1000. It is an ATP Tour Masters 1000 event on the ATP Tour 2023 calendar. The Shanghai Masters prize money has been revealed.

The tournament will be held at the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena from 4 October to 15 October 2023. Additionally, it is the inaugural year where the main singles draw has been expanded to 96 players, up from the previous 56 players.

In 2023, the total prize money of the Shanghai Masters is $8.8 million, marking a 17.75% increase from 2019. Despite this increase, the champion will get 8.20% less than they would have four years ago, taking home $1,262,220 in prize money. The Doubles winners will receive a $408k prize share.

The Singles runner-up will take home a $696k prize, and the doubles finalists get a $199k prize share. The Singles semi-finalists will get a $357k prize share. The Doubles semi-finalists will fill their pockets with a $100k payout.
