In the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL), the six teams will compete in 34 matches across four venues. A double round-robin tournament will determine the top four teams who will advance to the playoffs. The final PSL match will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium on March 19, 2024.

Shadab boasts a winning percentage of 53% in PSL, with 258 wickets at an average of 7.23 per over and 2,088 runs at an average of 137. He also holds the record for most five-wicket hauls in PSL.
Rilee Rossouw: Quetta Gladiators
Rilee Rossouw takes on the captaincy role for the Quetta Gladiators in PSL 2024, bringing an impressive batting record, including being the highest-scoring overseas player in PSL history.
Babar Azam: Peshawar Zalmi
Babar Azam leads Peshawar Zalmi for the first time in PSL 9, replacing Wahab Riaz, who previously captained the Karachi Kings. Under Riaz’s leadership, Karachi played 11 matches, winning only 1 and losing 10, resulting in a 10% winning percentage. Babar, the Pakistani captain for the T20 format, boasts a total of 8,549 runs and 3,355 runs in T20Is.
Shan Masood: Karachi Kings
Shan Masood dons the captain’s hat for the Karachi Kings in PSL 2024, bringing his experience as Pakistan’s Test captain and former leader of Multan Sultans. He aims to guide the Kings to their second PSL title while contributing valuable runs as a left-handed opener.
Shaheen Shah Afridi: Lahore Qalandars
Shaheen Shah Afridi leads the Lahore Qalandars in PSL 9. He became the youngest captain to win the PSL in 2022. Under his captaincy, Lahore played 13 matches, winning 8 and losing 4, with a winning percentage of 65%. Afridi has also claimed 176 wickets at an economy rate of 7.61.
Mohammad Rizwan: Multan Sultans
Mohammad Rizwan captains the Multan Sultans in PSL 9. From 2021 to 2022, under his leadership, Multan participated in 24 matches, winning 17 and losing 7, achieving a success ratio of 70%.
