Domestic
At a young age, Iftikhar Ahmed demonstrated his prowess as a batsman. In the Faysal Bank T20 Cup in Lahore in 2010, he played his debut T20 game.
Although he failed to impress in his initial outings, his general statistics in domestic T20s paint a spectacular narrative. He had appeared in 60 games, scoring 1,337 runs and supplying 13 wickets.
Iftikhar Ahmad initially performed in 2010 for the Peshawar Panthers. Then, I participated in the WAPDA team from 2011 to 2018. Ahmed was the top run-scorer in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy of the 2017–18 season in his 2017 cricket debut for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited. He played 11 games and totaled 735 runs.
He debuted in the 2016–17 Regional One-Day Cup on January 27, 2017. He scored 131 not out and three wickets for just 12 runs. In that competition, Ahmed and Gauhar Ali were both selected as the man of the match. Ahmed was the top run-scorer in the 2017 Pakistan Cup with 244 runs in just 4 games and played for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He played for the Sindh team in the 2018 Pakistan Cup. He played the opening batsman in this event and scored 116 runs against Baluchistan. Sind was picked as the game’s man of the match after leading his team to a 12-run victory.
Ahmed debuted for Pakistan A side in the two-day match against England in October 2015, where he once again won as the team’s top scorer.

He participated in 2016–19 for the Karachi King. In 2017, he later joined the Peshawar Zalmi team. In 2018, he left Peshawar Zalmi and joined Islamabad United.
Ahmed recently participated in the Pakistan Super League’s 2020 player auction. Starting in 2020, he played for Karachi King Squad in his first T20 franchise match. In 2018, he also participated in the Afghanistan Premier League.
