David Wiese was born in Roodepoort, South Africa, on 18 May 1985. He is a professional cricketer who plays for two nations, first from South Africa and then from the Namibian side. He made his T20 debut for South Africa on 2 August 2013 against Srilanka in Colombo. On 19 August, he made his ODI debut vs New Zealand at Centurion Park in 2015.
He debuted for Namibia in the T20I on 5 October 2021, just a few before the T20 World Cup 2021. His ODI debut for Namibia was made on 6 March 2022 against Oman. He could represent the Namibian cricket team because his father was born there.

Early Career
He started playing at a very early age in his life. Wiese joined a cricket academy run by a South African coach, Harry Shapiro. In the beginning days, David was interested in spin bowling, but as time passed, he understood that his height was the critical factor, and then he moved toward fast bowling.
