He has previously played for Nancy’s junior team and reserve squad before making his main team debut for Nancy against Lille in 2009.

Later, in the summer of 2011, he relocated to Turkey for a purported transfer price of €2 million. He then joined the English football team Sunderland, where he debuted on January 12, 2013, against West Ham United.
As part of the loan agreement with Sunderland, N’Diaye was moved to teams, including the Turkish football club Eskisehirspr and the Spanish football club Betis.
