Morocco will compete in the World Cup in Qatar for the sixth time. They achieved their most excellent result on their second appearance in 1986, when they reached the round of 16, after first appearing in 1970.
That will not be an easy job, as they are placed in Group F with Canada, Belgium, and Croatia, which means they will compete against two of the 2018 semifinalists.
The 26 players Morocco FIFA World Cup 2022 squad has been revealed, and among the star players are Achraf Hakimi of PSG and Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea.

Goalkeepers
Yassine Bounou is undoubtedly the best player for Morocco, having participated in every World Cup qualifier campaign match and being Sevilla’s first choice.
If Bounou has health difficulties, the 33-year-old Munir Mohamedi is another qualified contender who can fill in between the sticks. Ahmed Rega Tagnaouti will also go with the team as a backup in Qatar.

Attackers
The primary players in the front three are Hakim Ziyech, Youssef En-Nesyri, and Sofiane Boufal. In contrast to Boufal, who takes up position on the left side with En-Nesyri serving as the target player, Chelsea star Ziyech, who reversed his global retirement to return under new manager Regragui, mostly plays on the right flank.

Defenders
Regragui likes to set up his backline with a conventional back-four. The full-back places are not hugely tricky because Achraf Hakimi and Noussair Mazraoui are among the team’s players. However, the most frequently utilized center-backs are Achraf Dari and Romain Saiss.
The other choices for the defensive center include Jawad El Yamiq of Valladolid and Nayef Aguerd of West Ham.

Morocco National Team Coach
Walid Regragui is the perfect example of the new generation of African coaches: he is youthful, media-savvy, player-friendly, and an ex-international player with significant European playing experience. Moreover, the 46-year-old is a rising star who, if Qatar 2022 performs well, could one day return to play in Europe. He won the CAF Champions League in May with Wydad.
Best Players To Watch
Achraf Hakimi has played as a left or right full-back, and sometimes on the wing, for his national squad, so he is free to pop up wherever on the field and utilize that other lung he is said to possess. Morocco relies on Hakimi, who will be 24 in November but has already earned 50 caps, to create several opportunities because they lack other attacking options.
