But because of Covid and other problems, the Asia Cup was announced to be played in alternative formats, so this year’s cup will be played in the T20 format, which consists of the most exciting matches ever. Amjad Javed, a talented player from UAE, has taken the most wickets in the Asia Cup T20 format with approx 12 doors. He holds the record of the leading wicket-taker in the shortest format with a strike rate of 11.5, which is an outstanding achievement.

Highest Scorer

Amjad Javed is the highest run-scorer who has played 22 matches in the Asia Cup with a score of 745 runs in one century and six fifties, with the highest score of about 111. But he made a record in the 2016 edition by scoring 83 runs against Bangladesh.

Best Bowling Figure:

Srilanka’s famous bowler Lasith Malinga, a well-known name in his country, has made a record of the best bowling figure in Asia Cup T20. He did 4/26 against UAE.
