The 18th edition of Super Smash will be started on 23 December 2023. The first match of the contest will be played between the Canterbury vs Northern Knights at Bay Oval stadium. In the 2023 edition, there are 6 teams will fighting against each other to win the trophy.

10 different venues are selected where all matches will take place. Since its beginning in 2005, the tournament has gone through various names, including:
