Tony Munyonga Career
On April 17, 2018, he made his List A debut with Rising Stars in the Pro50 Championship for the 2017–18 season. The Rising Stars prevailed in the competition, and Munyonga was chosen, as the series player. On March 17, 2019, he played his first Twenty20 match for Mashonaland Eagles in the 2018–19 Stanbic Bank 20 Series.
He was a Zimbabwe’s ODI team member for their series against the United Arab Emirates in April 2019, but he did not participate. He was selected in September 2019 to play for Zimbabwe in the Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series in the Twenty20 format. On September 13 against Bangladesh, he made his Zimbabwe T20I debut.
He was chosen to represent the Mountaineers in the 2020–21 Logan Cup in December of that year. He was included in Zimbabwe’s ODI team for their series against Bangladesh in August 2022. On August 7, 2022, he played his first ODI for Zimbabwe against Bangladesh.
