Career

Domestic Career

He made his T20 debut for the Zimbabwe team against Eastern Province on September 30, 2016, in the Africa T20 Cup. Tinashe was included in a Zimbabwe Cricket Academy team in February 2017 for a trip to England later that year.

He made his List A debut with Rising Stars on April 17, 2018, in the Pro50 Championship for the 2017-18 edition. He played nine games and scored 379 runs, the highest in the tournament.

In September 2018, he was added to the Zimbabwe cricket team for the T20 Africa Cup. In December 2020, Tinashe was selected for the Eagles for the Logan Cup 2020-21.

International Career

Kamunhukamwe was selected for a Board XI squad in June 2018 for practice matches before the 2018 Zimbabwe Tri-Nation Tournament. Tinashe was part of the preliminary 22-man T20 International team for the tri-nation series later that month.

Tinashe represented the Zimbabwe ODI Squad in the series against Pakistan that month. He made his ODI debut against Pakistan for the Zimbabwe team in 2018.

In 2019, he was selected for the Zimbabwe ODI and T20I teams for the series against the Netherlands. In 2020, he was included in the Zimbabwe ODI and T20I teams for their series against Bangladesh. He played his first international T20 match against the Bangladesh team in March 2020.
