Marumani made his first-class debut for Rocks in the Logan Cup 2020-21 on Mar 18, 2021. He was selected for Zimbabwe’s team for the U-19 Cricket World Cup 2020 before making his first-class debut. In 2021, he played his first T20 match for Rocks in the Zimbabwe Domestic T20 Competition.
Tadiwanashe was included in the Zimbabwean team for the T20 International series against Pakistan in 2021. In 2021, he played for Zim against Pak in his 1st T20I match. In April 2021, he made his List A debut for Rocks in the Pro50 Championship 2020-21.
