One of the best wicketkeeper batters ever produced by Pakistan is Mohammad Rizwan. Alongside some famous players are the Pakistani team Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, and Shahid Afridi. Since 2015, he has played for Pakistan in international cricket.
Rizwan is the team’s wicketkeeper and a right-handed batter. He participated in international matches in all three forms, including Tests, One-Day Internationals, and Twenty20 Internationals. He serves as the Pakistan cricket team’s vice-captain in test matches.
In the Pakistan Super League, Rizwan participated in Lahore Qalandars from 2016 to 2017. Later, he played for Karachi Kings from 2018 to 2020. Currently, he is the captain of Multan Sultans. He also leads the domestic cricket squad for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Early Life
Mohammad Rizwan was born into a Muslim household in Peshawar, Pakistan’s sixth-largest city in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region. He played cricket as a youngster, just like any other Pakistani child.
His enthusiasm for the sport peaked as he got older, but his father never encouraged him. He was the second oldest of five siblings, and his father made him seek a Ph.D. Rizwan struggled to maintain his money while playing at a small club without family backing.
He was qualified to study and compete for Islamia College University, Peshawar, in domestic competitions because of his exceptional batting abilities and accomplishments while representing his school.

Career
Since making his debut on Pakistan’s local circuit more than ten years ago, Rizwan has been a constant competitor in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy, working with the wildly successful SNGPL team and leading his side to three titles in the previous four years. A lone Test cap in 2016 seems a little underwhelming in light of that.
Debut
At Seddon Park on November 25, 2016, Rizwan made his Test debut against New Zealand. On April 17, 2015, he made his ODI debut against Bangladesh. On April 24, 2015, he made his T20 debut against Bangladesh.
He performed admirably in international games and proved to be a valuable teammate. His role on the squad was the subject of great discussion. He was not chosen for the Caribbean tour at the beginning of 2017.
T20 Career
Mohammad Rizwan and T20s didn’t seem to go together naturally, but he disproved those hypotheses with a record-breaking year in 2021. He started well against South Africa, scoring an undefeated 104, and added seven more half-centuries to finish the year with the most T20I runs of any player.
Additionally, he scored the second-most runs in the 2021 PSL, only behind Pakistan opening partner Babar Azam, and helped Multan Sultans win the championship.
His reliability and steadiness at the top of the order converted what may have been a vulnerability for Pakistan into a strength.
Club Career
Rizwan played for the Sylhet Sixers, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited cricket team, and Peshawar Panthers. He participates in cricket with Sylhet Sixers and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited.
