U19
2007 Haris made his impressive debut for Sialkot against Rawalpindi during a U-19 cricket tournament. He scored a century against the team throughout the game. He caught the notice of the PCB in 2012, which compelled them to choose him for the Pakistan cricket squad due to his domestic accomplishments. In the T20 series against Sri Lanka, he made his Pakistani debut.
ODI
In the 2014 first ODI match against New Zealand, Sohail finished with an unbeaten score of 85 and was named player of the match. He scored 33 runs and claimed 3 wickets in the second game. He then quickly scored 39 runs off of 28 as Pakistan triumphed by 147 runs, recording his best bowling stats in an ODI. In the past two contests, he scored 13 and 65 points, respectively.
With 235 runs and 6 wickets, he concluded the five-match ODI series as Pakistan’s highest wicket-taker. During the South Africa trip 2013, he made his Test and ODI debuts. He contributed tremendously to the Pakistani team’s ODI tour against New Zealand in 2014.
