The Buick LPGA Shanghai is a women’s golf contest that welcomes some of the best female golfers worldwide. The tournament is played in Shanghai, China, and is co-sanctioned by the China Ladies Professional Golf Association and LPGA Tour.
The 2023 season will be played from October 12th to 15th, 2023, at Qizhong Garden Golf Club. The Buick LPGA Shanghai 2023 field will headed by the Atthaya Thitikul, Ruoning Yin, Danielle Kang and others.
The tournament was first played in 2018, and Danielle Kang has won twice. Other notable winners include Lydia Ko and Patty Tavatanakit.
Buick LPGA Shanghai Prize Money
The Buick LPGA Shanghai 2023 will have a total payout of $2.1 million. This total payout shows that the event is committed to attracting the world’s best golfers and providing them with a lucrative tournament.
The winner will receive a $315,000 prize, and the runner-up will earn $198,083 from the total fund. The semi-finalist will get a $139,681 prize share. The 4th place golfer will put in his pockets a $108,054 payout.
