VVS just came from Zimbabwe, where he coached the Indian team for 3 one day match series. The management and players who were part of the Zimbabwe tour but not part of the Asia Cup moved back to India.
Former Indian batsman VVS was appointed as a coach since Dravid’s positive covid report. But the Indian Cricket Board does not name Laxman as the official coach for Asia Cup.
On 23rd August Indian Board said; that Rahul Dravid has few symptoms of Covid. And he is now under the full inspection of the board medical team. We allow him to join the group if his covid report is negative.
