In a match against Australia, Holder made his ODI debut on February 1st, 2013 in Perth. West Indies performance in that game was dismal as they were bowled out for 70 runs. Aaron Finch’s dismissal by Holder gave him his first international wicket.
In January 2014, he played his first T20I match against the West Indies and finished with two wickets.
He played well in the shorter format before making his Test debut against New Zealand in June 2014. In a losing effort, he took two wickets and scored fifty runs.
Club Career
Chennai Super Kings purchased Holder at the 2013 IPL auction. Sunrisers Hyderabad acquired him for $125,000 a year earlier. In his IPL career thus far, he has taken 5 wickets while hitting 38 runs.
